Breakfast

Breakfast is a buffet in the old factory. On weekdays it is served from 07:00 to 10:00, at weekends from 08:00 to 10:30. If you have a gluten intolerance, there is a separate breakfast. If you bring something of your own because of an allergy, you are welcome to eat it in the breakfast room, so you can sit at the table with your travelling companions. Not staying with us? Which room suits you

The standard room is a quiet room with two comfortable beds and its own rain shower. The comfort room is bright and spacious, built around an original 1834 factory column, with a seating area and a desk. The deluxe room sits in the attic beneath the black roof trusses. All rooms have air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. For a special occasion there are three suites. View all rooms with photos and prices.

Eibergen on foot

The hotel is on the Haaksbergseweg, about 400 metres from the centre. That is roughly a five-minute walk. In the centre you will find the Gothic Oude Mattheüskerk and Museum De Scheper, housed in a villa and a farmhouse on the Hagen, about the landscape and history of the region. Around 700 metres east of the hotel stands the Mallumse Molen on the Berkel. From around 1830, Eibergen lived from textiles. Our building from 1834 belongs to exactly that story.

Practical information

Check-in is from 15:00, check-out until 11:00. A late check-out is available on request. You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before arrival. Parking on our own grounds is free, with two charging points for electric cars. Pets are not allowed. If you would also like to stay for dinner, the restaurant is open daily for dinner from 17:00 to 21:00. The package room, breakfast and three-course dinner arranges everything in one go.

Is De Kastanjefabriek a bed & breakfast?

No, it is a small hotel with 28 rooms, a reception available 24 hours a day and its own restaurant. You can, however, simply book a room with breakfast.

Is breakfast included with the room?

The breakfast buffet can be booked separately. With the Dine & Stay package, breakfast is included, as is a three-course dinner.

How far is the centre of Eibergen?

About 400 metres. On foot you will be there in some five minutes.
